Do I need a new roof?

Repairing or replacing your roof might not be a glamorous project, but it’s one of the most important projects you can do for your home. A new roof can protect the structure of your home, extend the life of your walls, frame, and foundation, and improve the overall value of your home. There are all kinds of reasons you might need a new roof.

Do you suspect damage to your roof from a storm?

Storms can do serious damage to your home all over, but your roof takes a serious beating. Hail, heavy rain, winds, falling branches, and debris can hit hard and ruin your shingles or even puncture your roof. Not only can the damage be serious, it’s the kind of damage that needs to be repaired quickly to prevent further damage.

Are shingles loose or missing on your home?

So many things can happen to your roof. Over time shingles on your roof might become loose or come off altogether. Having loose or missing shingles can allow for much more serious issues to develop like leaking into your attic, allowing damage to the underlayment or deck, or exposing openings where wildlife can get in and nest. Additionally, those loose or missing shingles might be an indicator of a larger problem.

When it rains, does your roof leak?

Putting a bucket under it is definitely not enough. If water is actually making it through to leak from your ceiling or run down your walls, there may be serious damage to the structure above. Letting a situation like that continue can be very bad.

Do you believe it is time to install a new roof?

We all know to change the oil in our car to extend the life of the engine. It is just as important to install a new roof. A roof should last you between 20 and 50 years depending on the material and quality of the roofing you choose. Making a choice to install cheaper material could result in the average life of your roof dropping as low as 10 years. In the end, it is far less expensive to choose good quality materials when putting in a new roof. Not only does it extend the life of your home, it can raise the value, and give you peace-of-mind.

We only use high quality, long-lasting materials for our projects. Check out our pre-approved list.
